Payment:

How does the payment work?

The rental is paid by direct debit and is debited around the 24th day of the applicable month. When concluding the contract, you authorise Wasgoed.com to debit the rental and delivery costs from your account.

If, for example, you conclude a contract with us on 18 May, the remaining 14 days of May will be charged upon delivery.

Yes, it is, provided that the contract holder at Wasgoed.com is also one of the account holders.

If the balance is insufficient, the direct debit order will be repeated several times. If the payment is not yet settled after three (3) times, an amount of € 5 will be charged for administration costs on each outstanding invoice.

No, because we have trust in our customers :)
No, delivery and installation is free of charge. If your machine broke down by a technical malfunction we will repair the machine free of charge. Unless you decide to wash bricks there's a slight possibility we will charge you for this.

Contract:

My account number has been changed; how do I communicate this to you?

You can do so by clicking this link

To terminate your contract, please fill in the terminate rental contract form. After the minimum rental period of one (1) year, you can terminate the contract on a daily basis, with a cancellation period of one (1) month. So, if you cancel on the 28th of the current month, the contract will end on the 28th of the following month. You also have the option to purchase the appliance after the minimum rental period. Please contact us if you would like to know more about this option.

Yes, this can be done free of charge. Please use the takeover lease contract form to do so.

As a student, you enter into a contract for a minimum period of one (1) year. The contract is then tacitly extended with a one-month cancellation period. You can transfer the contract to another resident at any time.

Yes, it can be done once a year free of charge. Please notify us in good time at support@wasgoed.com, so that we can make an appointment with you.

If you wish to terminate the contract within the minimum period of 1 year, you will be charged for the remaining period at once (surrender of contract). You will receive an invoice for this, which must be paid at the latest one day before the collection appointment.

To avoid these costs, perhaps another tenanat can take over the leasecontract.

Washing machine:

The washing machine fails to switch on

Check that the plug is in the socket and that the pull switch is working, and otherwise that the stop/earth leakage circuit breaker has not jumped. To make sure there is power at the outlet, you can also first connect another appliance and test it.

Check whether the water supply (tap) is open. It often happens that the tap is open, but still does not let water through. This could be because the washer in the tap is worn out. To check this, you can unscrew the water supply hose from the tap, then place a bucket under the tap and check whether water really comes out of the tap.

Proper distribution of laundry in the drum is very important. Please read the instructions below carefully.

  • Place the laundry loosely in the drum and distribute it over the entire surface. If the laundry cannot distribute properly over the drum, the washing machine will become imbalanced and will not spin.
  • If the balance control and correction system detects the imbalance, it will attempt to redistribute the laundry over the drum.
  • If it fails to distribute the laundry properly, the machine will spin at a lower speed than set or not at all. The latter action is designed to prevent damage to the appliance or the environment.
  • Imbalance can occur due to under-loading; for example, with only one item of laundry, in which case you should add extra laundry. Imbalance can also be caused by uneven loading; for example, a large laundry item that absorbs a lot of water.

If the machine is equipped with a filter, clean it. The filter is located at the bottom right, behind a small door at the front of the machine. In certain Zanussi models (ZWF5140P ZWG6140P), the filter is located in the drum under the blue cover.

Please note that a little water always comes out when the filter is removed. So keep a container with a mop or towel handy!
If objects, such as coins or buttons are found in the filter, remove them and then replace the filter correctly.

Run a full "cotton" program at 90 degrees. For the best result, use two dishwasher tablets in an empty drum. In 99% of all cases, excessive use of liquid detergent is the cause of nasty odours and clogging of the washing machine.

Always first check whether the filter has been inserted correctly and tightened. Also check the tap and the inlet and outlet hose of the washing machine. Check whether the outlet hose is still in the drain pipe.

Check whether the washing machine is level and that all four legs are in contact with the floor. It can also be caused by a washing machine that is overloaded by a garment that absorbs a lot of water, for example. Redistribute the laundry and possibly also remove the excess laundry. A wooden floor can also be the cause of this problem.

Never use too much detergent. Modern appliances use little water and the detergent consumption must be adjusted accordingly. A tablespoon of washing powder or a cap of liquid detergent is usually enough. Excessive use of detergent can cause the laundry to stink and even cause dark purple stains.

The following rule applies to washing household textiles: load the drum so that you can still fit the width of your hand between the load and the top of the drum.

The following rule of thumb applies to washing clothes: only load the drum up to three-quarters full.
The following rule applies to washing synthetic fabrics: drum half loaded.
In the case of wool that can be washed in the machine, two or three items of clothing are already a full load.
Washing the correct load is good for the environment, as well as for your wallet!

Overloading the machine can cause damage to the machine; the laundry becomes less clean and detergent residues can remain on the fabric. Overloading synthetic fabrics can cause persistent creases.

Tumble dryer:

The tumble dryer does not switch on.

Check:

  • whether the plug is in the power socket and whether the pull switch has been activated.
  • whether the stop in the meter box has not jumped
  • whether the door is closed properly
  • whether the water reservoir is empty
  • whether the condenser is placed correctly

Check:

  • Whether the filters are clean; the filter in the door must be emptied after every drying cycle
  • whether the water reservoir is empty
  • whether the condenser is clean -> clean it at least once a month
  • whether the condenser is placed correctly

It is also possible that the laundry was too wet when put in in the tumble dryer, because the washing machine had not spun it properly.

Check to make sure there are no loose objects in the drum that do not belong there.

Dishwasher:

The dishwasher does not switch on

Check:

  • whether the plug is in the power socket and whether the pull switch has been activated.
  • whether the stop in the meter box has not jumped
  • whether the door is closed properly
  • whether the tap is open
  • check the filter -> clean it at least once a month
